MEMORIES
I asked myself what i remember most about Uncle Wayne. There are
so many good memories. His Laughter, his great smile, corny jokes as well, but I laughed at them, camp memories are the best.
One memory that I remember in particular is the time when I locked Wayne in the Outhouse and grampies camp, plus the times I spent in Oromocto , I couldn’t Wait till he got home. I remember….he treated me like a son, I loved him so..
Uncle Wayne was a remarkably talented, good & thoughtful
Hardworking; fun-loving person in every way. Wayne was a person
of great character, devotion, integrity, love, compassion.
Above all, He was a great Uncle. He believed in
The person’s highest value, family, faith, hard work, independence, He always said hey Marky boy, you’re a gem… , I say you as well Uncle, you
As well. I shed a tear of happiness but also sadness, I know you are at peace
Now Uncle, until we meet again you are my gem.
Poem
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Uncle Wayne, thank you for being part of My life. We are all going to miss you.
Love Mark

I was sorry to learn of the death of Wayne. He had a significant life and ministry. Today I was visiting with a Ridgewood veteran who commented about how kind Wayne was.
I am grateful that Wayne was following the Lord Jesus, who said,"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live." John 11:25 I am praying for you.

My heart breaks for Wayne's family. I didn't know Wayne for very long, but I will not forget the kind and sweet way he spoke to everyone. I met him while visiting my late father, Hazen Keirstead, also a resident at Ridgewood. He always asked me about my father and it was obvious he sincerely cared. He will be truly missed.

To the Richardson Family
“But resurrection is not just consolation — it is restoration. We get it all back — the love, the loved ones, the goods, the beauties of this life — but in new, unimaginable degrees of glory and joy and strength.” (Tim Keller)
May the truth of the resurrection, in which Wayne so steadfastly believed, bring you great comfort in this time of great loss.
Love to all,

Please accept my deepest sympathies... Wayne was on the the same floor as dad this time last year.. I called him 'mayor Wayne' because he would visit just about every room, knew the staff well, and was such a friendly and caring man. He cried that day in January when dad was taken to Bobby's.. His family and friends will be in my prayers...
