Peter Lee Brooker

Peter Lee Brooker, loving and devoted husband of Marguerite “Bonnie” (McCollum) Brooker, passed away with his wife at his side on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1951 in Saint John he was the son of the late Roland and Doris (O’Brien) Brooker. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his twin brother Paul Brooker.

Peter had worked as a Nursing Orderly for Workers’ Rehabilitation Center, he was an active volunteer with Sledge Hockey of Canada and Scouts for 20 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife Bonnie he is survived by his  daughter Nora Lee Dunlay (Matt) of Pembrooke, Ontario; cherished grandchildren Arianna and Ella; his son Scott Brooker (Marc) of Packington, Quebec; brothers Patrick Brooker (Pam), Michael Brooker and Timothy Brooker (Julia) of all of Ontario ; sister-in-law Trudy of Ontario; several nieces and nephews, whom he loved as his own.  

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Sunday, April 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Peter may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
