Hi Bonnie, Scott and Nora..such a great loss for you all. I have always had such respect and love for Peter from the first time we met. He brought Christmas lights to our apartment in New Brunswick. His kindness and acceptance of my girls was heartwarming. We still talk about the Christmas tree leaning on the wall with the hand made decorations as being one of the best Christmases ever. It is hard to believe we were just talking a couple of weeks ago about my coming to visit and all going to PEI. My Mom sends her love and thanks for making her feel so welcome in your home. I am praying for you!

I am saddened by your passing Peter. We had fun times fishing together, me fishing you watching etc. We laughed and joked about how to catch trout. I remember standing by one deep hole saying to you "put your line in like this and pull out a fish like this" surprised each time to have a fish on. Every time you tried nothing :(. That became our great rivalry. You along with Bonnie raised a beautiful family. My heart felt condolences to all. I loved Peter like a brother. I'm sorry I just found out this evening and cannot make it to the funeral in time. Peter I want you to know if any one of your family needs anything I will be there.

Bonnie, Scott & Nora: Colby & I are so sorry for your loss. Remembering all the fun times at St. Giles when Peter was Sunday School Superintendent. From Easter Sunrise Services to White Gift Services to Special Services to puppet plays, Peter saw us through all the crises & "surprises" with faith, good humour & that chuckle of his. I am going to try to post a picture of "classic Peter" calmly flipping pancakes at an Easter Sunrise Service breakfast while Reay & I were no doubt harassing him from behind the camera. They are good memories.

Bonnie, Nora ,Scott we are very sad to hear of Peter's passing, we only just found out about it today. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family, what a great loss. Peter was a terrific, fun loving, happy person, he will be forever missed. We did not keep in touch like we should have over the years, but we have wonderful memories of all of you. Peter made our beautiful wedding cake, Scott was our ring bearer 36 years ago this July, Your family coming up to visit at Mom and Dad's, all the fishing trips all of these things are wonderful memories. Peter and I worked many a night shift together at the Rehab Center and his trend of conversation was so often of his love of family and community service. My prayers are for strength and happy memories for your family. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Peter. He was a wonderful kind hearted man and treated everyone like family. My fondest memory was when Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Peter came down to visit us in Hamilton. Our dog food was in a cookie container and Uncle Peter was hungry so he ate it thinking that it was cookies lol. Even after we told him it wasn't he still had a couple more bc he didn't think they tasted so bad. Lol What a guy. I will miss you. My thoughts are with you Aunt Bonnie, Nora and Scott xo xo

My heart is with all of you Bonnie, Nora and Scott as I know it is so hard to say goodbye. Peter was the best growing up beside, always there tending to us as well as his own. He will be greatly missed and left a wonderful lasting memory for many. He always had a smile on his face when I saw him. Celebrate his life of good deeds and a beautiful soul.
