My heartfelt sympathy to my Canadian buddie Jeannie & her lovely family on the sad loss of Mel. I have so many memories of our times together in Saint John, where Mel & Brian would have a beer and put the world to rights.
I cannot say how sad the news of Mel's passing brought me. Mel (like you all), will always have a place in my heart. Thinking of you at this sad, sad time.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences to Jeannie, Peggy, Melissa and in-laws on the sad passing of Mel.
Anita, Hayley & I have some great memories from our visit to Saint John in 2008. We love New Brunswick & we loved Mel.
A larger than life character, who we know will be sadly missed by a great many people. We will be thinking of you all at this sad time. My dad Brian has a beer waiting for Mel in Heaven.
