Hi
I wish to express my deepest condolences to the loved ones of Melody. I personally don't know her but I feel your grief as well . She would have been one year older than I am. I also have two kids, battled breast cancer and still moving along with the grace of God. Currently pursuing my Masters in educational Administration with UNB. I know this will tough but our prayers are with you all. I know that God has a special place for teachers and Melody will surely be there . Take very good care of her kids and let them know that they will be loved.

I was so sorry to learn this evening of Melody's sudden passing. She and I were in a Masters course together this past July at UNB. Although our encounter was brief, she was a pleasure to work with, she had a vibrant spirit and I know was a very dedicated teacher. To Melody's family, words could never express how great of a friend Melody was to everyone. I loved sharing her classroom with her and admired how well prepared she was for her classroom lessons. She had recently accomplished so much....achieving a huge weight loss and completing her Master's. I'm so thankful I was able to see her just days prior to her passing, but now regret not chatting longer. I will miss you. I wish you could have stayed with us much longer.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Melody's passing this morning. I met her through a mutual friend a few years ago. Though I had hoped to foster a closer friendship with her than either of us could manage, I did consider her a friend and thought of her often.
