Darrell & family, sorry to have heard about Marjorie. We had known your family for years, having lived close to where you lived in Lakewood and our families growing up together. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the service at the Church and have been in Florida, since early this month.

Darrell and family, I met Marge through the AAHLBC convention many years ago. She and I became friends almost at once. I had the privilege of having her stop and visit our home when she was in the states and when we visited St. John's for hockey. We went out to lunch when my late husband, Tom and I visited Canada. Facebook became a way to keep up with each other. I will miss her terribly. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I was very saddened to hear of Marj's passing. It's been many years but I still remember all the wonderful times we spent as a group fishing, taking trips or just relaxing around the camp. Margie was always so light-hearted, giving and friendly to everyone she met. Words can not express how much we will miss her smile and kindness. We were at bowling last evening when we learned of Marj's passing. She so enjoyed her Tuesday night bowling and we certainly had lots of fun bowling with her. Marj was a great lady. While I have not seen her often, especially in recent years, ever since I first met her through you, Darrell, when I worked for a summer for him at Downeys in the early 70's I have always thought of Marj as a friend. Marj was so full of life, and oh so proud of her family. Darrell, you and Marj had such a special relationship. While all of you will miss her dearly, I am sure each of you have many very wonderful memories to cherish.
Sadly, because of another funeral commitment I will not be able to make it to the service of remembrance, but you will be in my thoughts. I have also made a donation in her honour and memory.
