I will never forget knowing Lyman, whom I worked for. I have never known a more giving person in my 55 years. I will always remember him asking me about families in need at Christmas. One year was the "cabbage patch doll" craze. Though many couldn't afford, Lyman
purchased fifty and gave them to needy families. There may never be a heart so big and pure.
May you rest in peace my friend. McGoo

On behalf of the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization, I would like to offer our deepest condolences to Lyman's family. We have many fond memories of Lyman as the Chief Warden of the Point Lepreau Warden Service. His leadership and training of the Warden Service, and his personal participation in the many years of training and exercises for Point Lepreau Generating Station were great assistance to provincial emergency preparedness. A truly professional and dedicated leader, we will miss his contribution to our work. We will remember him fondly.

So sorry to hear of Lyman's passing. He was a good friend to my late father (Mitchell Carr) and to my entire family. My favorite memory of him was when he delivered a Christmas turkey to our home in Lorneville one Christmas Eve. We are not sure how he carried it, as it was almost as big as him! Our condolences to Maxine and his entire family. He will be missed!

Lyman made me feel very welcomed when I first moved to Little Lepreau in 1998. We had a great conversation when he installed my first satellite system. Our paths crossed at different times while I worked at PLGS, as well as in the community over the years. A very kind man who will be missed by many. RIP Lyman.

My condolences to Lyman's family. Lyman truly was the unofficial mayor of Lepreaux. He supplied the Hunter Safety Courses, the mail, electrical contracting, satellite installation and services, maintained a restaurant and in later years was a leader with the local EMO to name a few. He was a true visionary. He is well respected and he and his warm smile will be missed.

I will say a little prayer for him this evening Maxine and just wanted you to know how much I respected him.

My thoughts are with Lyman's family, friends and all of LepreauX. He truly was the mayor and was a positive influence to many and the community at large. I will fondly remember picking up the mail and him always saying hi; seeing him while Nine served up burgers and shakes; His love of his dogs - including the famous Gunner; the driving down the road with a satellite in the back of his Nissan; and his fondness (and his seats) for the Saint John Flames; and his enjoyment hanging with David, and with his Scout and camp buddies! You were one of a kind ! RIP
