I worked with Kerry over 10 years ago, at 724 Solutions. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile. It was one of those smiles that you immediately recognized as genuine. He always made time to help me with a issue or just say hello, despite how perpetually busy he was. I hope the family finds comfort in knowing just how many people he influenced and will miss him.

Dear Kelly and family - We just heard the news of Kerry's passing and wanted to send you our deepest condolences and thoughts at this saddest of times. Although we only met Kerry briefly this year, he made a significant impact on us. We enjoyed his spirit and valued his ideas and hoped to one day be in a position to work with him and Kinek. You and Kerry were so generous to host us at your gorgeous home and we feel grateful to have met you all. Our hearts go out to you.

Mrs. McLellan, Tara, Randy, Robbie and family-
My heart is heavy and saddened... I heard through Ralph Mason of Kerry's passing.  I am so very sorry for your loss and the pain and sorrow you are feeling.  Although I have not been in touch with you in a number of years, my memories of Kerry and my visits to your home in Grand Bay have not been forgotten.  From the posts that friends, colleagues and family have written, I can see that Kerry surrounded himself with loving and caring people and continued to put his own caring, loving and incredible talents towards being innovative, helping others and being a wonderful husband and father to his family.  His impact on each one of us will not be forgotten.  He has left a legacy that will live on.... My prayers for strength and comfort are with you through this incredibly tough time.  I pray that you will find solace knowing the he is now resting in peace with God and with family and friends who have gone before him.

Words cannot properly express what I would like to say to you Kelly, Nathaniel, Isaac and Ethan. I am so sorry for your loss and for the void that Kerry's passing has left in your hearts. May you find comfort in knowing that he is at peace, and that he lived such a full life, albeit too short.  Like so many others, Kerry had a profound influence on my life too - both in my professional life, and in my personal life. I looked up to him as a mentor, and valued his advice and opinions.  He made me want to keep striving to be better, and to live up to my potential. He inspired Sean and I to travel to places we wouldn't have otherwise gone, and he is the reason why we picked up the white water rafting "bug"! Kerry was so many things - generous, kind, intelligent, adventurous…. I could go on and on. However, what I especially admired about him was the love and pride he had for each of you.  I know you will all continue to make him proud, and by doing so he will continue to stay alive in your hearts forever. Your family has meant so much to me these past 7 years and I love each one of you so much.  You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, and please know that I am here for each of you if you need anything.  With love, Jo-Anne

Kerry lived a life of meaning.  Within my interaction with him, I know he made a significant and lasting impact on the entrepreneurs in the Wallace McCain Institute.  His authentic and open talks to ELP groups have made a lasting impact on dozens of regional business leaders.  May they all embrace the passion he exuded and grow in their ability to "inform and trust their guts".

He will be missed.

So deeply sorry for your loss. I hope that, in time, healing would replace the sting of pain.

Kids,
I know this experience will change you forever!!! May your times ahead be marked with a flood of awesome and lasting memories. Your dad's influence on your life has been significant, likely greater than you even expect. Life will be incredibly different without your father. May his story breathe truth and meaning into your life and help encourage you along the way.

Kelly,
May you find strength in the times when there is little. Clarity to make sense of it all. Courage to truly and deeply celebrate memories. Faith in God and people because it is a rocky road and a friend along the way never hurts. And, since you are a parent, special wisdom to lead forward.

It is an unimaginable thing to loose a husband and father and I am sure there will be unbearable times ahead. My prayers are with you and all the family.

May you be saturated with peace and comfort for today and more of the same for tomorrow. One day at a time.

Your childhood friend and advocate,
Kevin

Nathanial, Isaac, Ethan and Kelly - I am thankful for the opportunity to teach at VCA while you were there.  To see a keen diligent mind (Nathanial), a great sense of humor (Isaac), a vibrant intelligence (Ethan) and, above all, a compassionate heart was to know a bit of your father.  My heart breaks for the sadness you must be feeling; but know that your father's legacy lives on through your family and many friends. Dear Kelly and boys,

I am so saddened to learn of Kerry's passing. It is such a shock and Kerry was so kind to us when we lived next door at 10 Rothesay Park.  It is so sad when we lose our loved one and the emptiness is felt for a lifetime.  May God be with you and your family at this time.  Please accept my sincere condolences.  God Bless, Aubrey Reid

Kelly, Nathaniel, Isaac and Ethan.   We have been family friends for a long time and your boys went to kindergarten with our oldest three girls and have been re-acquainted in their more recent years at Harry Miller and Rothesay high.  They have reignited their friendships.  Our families have often waved to each other, two large ford's carting our kids to different school activities.   Kerry and I never formally worked together but I think we have worked with almost all of each other's colleagues both in Toronto and New Brunswick during our technology tours of duty.   Kerry and I shared the same life experience of the "New Brunswick Road Warrier"; Saint John is a tough place to travel from. While we never spoke frequently, when we did we enjoyed discussing business matters and mega trends. Kerry left an impact in Rothesay, Saint John, Ontario, and all across Canada and he will be remembered as a remarkable business leader and one of the most strategic thinkers our country has ever produced.  We have admired your family and have prayed for you, especially over the last several months.   We love you and know that God will be there for every step of this painful journey.   God Bless you and reach out to us and others if you wish.  We will be there for you if you need us.  Love Geoff and Beth Marney, and Lana, Celeste, Jane, David, Laurel, Sam, Avery & Isaac

Our region's loss is only outweighed by Kerry's family loss.

Kerry was one of the greatest visionaries in our region. His dedication to hard work and attempts to build a better world will never be forgotten. Kerry was always there to throw ideas at and provide sensible advice. Kerry's vision for our region was the real true growth of which so many talk, Kerry lived and worked it. Our world has lost a great man, thank you to his family for sharing Kerry with us and please accept my condolence.
