It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental sudden passing of Kelly Ann Mckiel at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday May 3rd, 2020. She was born in Saint John to Davina Hill McKiel and James McKiel on September 17th, 1988. Kelly, in her 31 years lived her life to the fullest. A free and outgoing spirit who loved life, her toys, friends and Saturday afternoon gatherings with the Hill family. She was also so proud of her artistic talents and endeavours.
She started her Military career at the age of 12 with the 1691 Saint John Army Cadets where she served until the age of 17. She then was a Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces based in Ottawa from 2006- 2013 as a Communications and Intelligence Research Operator. She successfully completed 3 tours of service for her country.
Kelly is survived by her Father James McKiel, Mother Davina Hill (Kevin), loving sister's Jamie McKiel (Tony), Krista Flloyd, Her beloved Grandmother Marylin Hill, Aunt Joanne Hill London, Uncles Mark Hill, Steven Hill (Judy), Matt Steward, Cousins Kirstie London, Scott Steward (Erica), Terri Beyea (John), Adam McKiel (Tanya), Taylor McKiel, Kaylie Ness (Mike),
and many great nieces and nephews and a countless number of friends from all over the world..
Kelly was predeceased by her beloved Grandfather David Hill, Grandmother Nettie Mckiel and her Aunt Kimberly Hill Steward.
Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) have been entrusted with the arrangements. Due to the current global pandemic
crisis, there will only be a public visitation and funeral service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in memory of Kelly Ann may be
made to Salvation Army and Red Cross, Thank you.
