I was so sorry to hear about the passing of my old friend, John.
Although we hadn't kept in contact since high school, we did reconnect a few years ago. It was great to get together again to reminisce about the old days and the motorcycle trips we took together. One such trip, we stayed overnight with John's grandparents in Saint John. I have enjoyed our talks over the past couple of years and will keep the memories forever.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sally,
So sorry to hear about John. When I read about his love for amateur photography, I remembered the time he came to our house in Florenceville, and took pictures of Brent when he was a year old. Such cute pictures, at least we thought so, but John was not pleased with them because they turned out dark. Just think now, all he would have had to do is photoshop them- that was so long ago- near 50 years.
Our condolences- perhaps see you in June?

Sally and family.
I grew up with John in the 1950s in Sunny Brae, now Moncton.. We had lots of adventures during our teenage years. Yes, model planes were a part of our adventures way back then. He was also one of the first in the block to have a motor bike and he made good use of that bike.
I lost contact with John for many years but had opportunities to renew our friendship again over the last few years.
John enjoyed a good story and he could end it with a good laugh.
My wife Carol and I extend our sympathy to Sally and the family at the passing of my friend John.

Mrs. Bedell, Tom and Steve, my heartfelt condolences to all of you. Mr. Bedell was an amazing man. Some of my favourite childhood memories involve fun times at your home with your family (including Fuzz). Your dad always played a significant role in these fun times. He was very kind, always smiling and laughing and so willing to give of his time. My fondest memory is him sharing his love of model airplanes with the neighbourhood kids (and our pets too), he welcomed us all. He loved entertaining us just as much as we enjoyed and appreciated him doing so. If we weren't in your backyard waiting for the plane show to take place, we'd be seated at the high school football field waiting with great anticipation for John Bedell's air show. :) God love you Mr. Bedell, may you rest in peace.
My deepest sympathies to the Bedell family.

It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of my friend and mentor John Bedell. I was just a high school kid when he was kind enough to open his heart and home to me and share his love of model aviation. I have many fond memories of spending time with him in his basement looking at engines or sitting at the kitchen table looking at plans and eating Sally's cookies. John's kind heart and mentorship started me on the path that led to my career in that hobby industry. Although I moved away and we grew apart John you will always be in my heart. My sincerest condolences to Sally and family. He was a great man.

Deepest Condolences Tom, Jennifer, and Family. I won't be able to make it to the services on Friday as I'm away, however my thoughts are with you. It's always a challenge to lose someone and parents are especially difficult.
I only met your Dad a couple of times, but from what I can remember he was a happy and kind man. Take some time and remember the highlights and enjoy the stories of growing up.
Awesome picture of him BTW
Take care
