Although Gwen and I did not see each other often when we did I knew she was special. We had a nice chat a couple of times before she left us. Her smile will be misssed. We did have a common bond - you can rest in peace now Gwen. xo

TO ALL GWEN'S FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS,
GWEN WILL BE MISSED SO MUCH, BECAUSE SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND, ONE OF THOSE FRIENDS THAT HARDLY EXIST AMYMORE! WE WILL MISS SEEING HER AT WALMART, AND HER MAKING ME LAUGH WHEN I DIDN'T FEEL MUCH LIKE IT, CAUSE SHE KNEW ABOUT MY CANCER AND HOW WEAK I WAS FEELING, YET I FOUND OUT THAT AT THE SAME TIME I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT MY CANCER, SHE WAS SICK AND NEVER LET US KNOW FROM HER MOUTH, THAT SHE WAS ILL....YET THAT IS HOW SHE WAS, A REAL COMRADE! I MET HER IN CHURCH THE FIRST TIME WE MET, AND I HOPE TO MEET HER IN HEAVEN SOME DAY, SHE'LL PROBABLY BE TAKING CARE OF MY CAT "CJ" WHO I MISS SO MUCH....OUR HEART-FELT SYMPATHIES & LOVE & PRAYERS GO OUT TO EACH OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS! ALTHOUGH WE DIDN''T GET TO MEET YOU ALL, IF YOU ARE A FAMILY MEMBER OF GWEN''S, WE WOULD LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU, BECAUSE SHE WOULD ONLY HAVE ``GOOD PEOPLE`` IN HER LIFE!

We will really miss Gwennie and her cheerful visits. I'll never eat peas without thinking of her as she was a bottomless pit for fresh raw peas and we always had a chuckle together about them. She is a much loved person in this village and will be long remembered. I thank God for not having her suffer too long at this last stage.

On behalf of myself and my mother, Helen Brown, I wish to express our sympathy. We will miss Gwen's infectious smile and bubbly personality. She was a wonderful caregiver and friend to my mom and even long after she no longer took care of mom, she still popped in with lunch for the two of them or for a chat on many occasions. Mom always enjoyed her visits. She will be missed but she is in much better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest condolence to the family of Gwen. I had not seen her for some years now but remember her from Full Gospel Church back in the early 80's. I remember visiting her in St. Martins and having her over for supper one Sunday. I remember her love of the Lord and her wonderful laugh. I did not realize that she had been ill but isn't it strange how I was just wondering about her a few weeks back.
I am sure she is with her Lord whom she loved and served. May He give you His peace during this time---Blessings Leanne

Gwen.. was not just a close friend to us she was like another sister. We loved her visits and our chats. Gwen moved in many times and took care of our animals when we went away. Some times weeks at a time. All the animals loved her, parrots cats and dog. She was know as Nanny Gwen around our house and when she arrived we lost our pets. Gwen had a key to our home and could come and go as she pleased. We will miss her so much and know that she is no longer in pain and in Heaven opening up all the kitty and dog treats and feeding all the animals. Love ya Nanny Gwen.. kitty kitty, momma kitty, Reno, Barney and Melaine.

It was a very sad day to lose such a wonderful beautiful lady and friendand I will so miss her. She was amazing in so many ways and dedicated her life to giving to others and loving God. Haven has truly gained an angel but she will forever be in my heart. Love and miss you Gwen xox This quote reminds me so much of her "She lived for those she loved and those she loved remember."
