It's hard to believe Dan has passed, the last time I saw Dan was at the Regional Hospital last March 24th, he was in intensive care next to my father's bed my Dad passed that day. I have known Dan since childhood he was a good friend and I will miss him very much. I will see you on the other side Dan!

So Sorry to hear of Dans passing, and could not attend the service due to the fact that I am visiting my son in Edmonton, Alberta. I did however visit, pray and chat with him on a number of occasions while he was in the hospital; my most recent visit about 2 weeks ago which will be my last rememberance of him. A small dish of Icecream had been left on his table and I asked him if he wanted me to feed it to him, to which he responded, Ok. As he was eating this icecream he was smacking his lips and saying mmmm, that is so good. He finished it up in good order. We often talked of doing a few songs together when he got out of the hospital, but that never happened so now we will have to wait and do these tunes together on heavens shore. Dan loves Jesus and was always open for a time of prayer together! Earths loss, heavens gain. The Apostle Paul, said, "to be absent from theses earth bodies is to be Present with the Lord!

So saddened to hear of Dan's death.I first met him in the hall of Saint John High School some forty five years ago while he was attending a concert of local musicians with his father.Maurice introduced me to him as an aspiring musician-and did he more than succeed at that.Later had the opportunity to play in various musical groups with him-always remember him as a spot on gingle single -another special memory is his show tunes-I will never forget Zipity Do Da.Our thoughts are with Elaine and the boys and of course Rosy and the rest of the family.Dan was a larger than life character and boy are they getting entertained in the great beyond.

Dear Elaine; While just viewing the CBC News website, I was shocked and saddened to read of Danny's passing. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

How the years have passed, yet seeing his picture in the news article brought back very fond memories of first meeting and getting to know Dan. That was a number of years before I even met you while you and I worked at NBTel, and then what a coincidence to learn that you had married this charming musician with that smiling glint in his eyes, wonderful tone in his voice and magical fingers on the keyboard.

Over the years you were a very loving and supportive partner to Dan and you are in my thoughts during this time of celebrating Dan's life and the music he has left for us all.

As I will not be able to get to Saint John over the next couple of days, I am hoping we will be able to connect at some time in the future.

My deepest condolences to the Maloney family. I first met Dan 32 years ago when I was working at Sullivan's Piano Bar at the Saint John Delta Hotel. He was an amazing entertainer and the patrons and staff loved listening to him. The first song I heard him play was Rainbow Connection and to this day, it remains one of my favourite songs. So sorry to hear of Dans passing. What a voice and what a wonderful human being. Still remember him singing with Elaine at our wedding @ Saint AnnsChurch. He will be deeply missed. God bless. Rest in Peace.

My sincere deepest condolences to Rosy, Dan's children and the family. I spent several hours last week with Dan in chatting about old times and having some good conversations as always. Dan was truely one of a kind that would always give time to anyone and more so his friends. I'm so sadden in hearing this news after the visit we had last week.
