C. Wayne Moore

It is with profound sadness the family announce the unexpected death of Wayne Moore of Mispec which occurred on September 12, 2011.  Wayne was born in August of 1962 in Saint John, the oldest son of Clifford and Bertha (Stanley) Moore of Mispec.
He was a graduate of Simonds High School, class of 1980.  In the past he worked for Saint John Ship Building as a Ship's Plater and was an active member of Local #3.  Wayne was currently employed with Safway Scaffolding as a Scaffolder and was a member of Local #1386 New Brunswick Carpenters Union.  He also worked along side his Dad for many years as a commercial fisherman.
Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was an avid outdoorsmen.  He especially enjoyed driving his Harley Davidson,  playing hockey and was previously a member of the Saint John Vito’s Senior Hockey Team.  Some of his fondest memories came from traveling to Australia and Hawaii.
Besides his parents, Wayne is survived by his wife:  Rebekah (Becky) (Smith) Moore of Saint John, daughters: Julie Moore (Johnathon Beaudoin) of Fairfield and Shelby Moore of Saint John, one brother: Michael Moore (Terry Smith) of Mispec. He was Uncle Wayne to Devin and Bradley Moore; Cole, Ashley and Christian Sears; Charlotte Brillant. As well, several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 16th 2011 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donation in Wayne’s memory can be made to Mind Care New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
