To Irene and members of your family. I was very sorry to learn of Gerrys'''' passing this week. My sincerest condolences go out to you and members of your family. I have fun memories of Gerry and the days we use to sing together in the Men of Fundy back in the late 80''''s. He was a bright spark in the group and always made me feel welcome at rehearsals and we had such good times at concerts and singouts. He is forever in my fondest of memories and I will be thinking of you in the days and weeks ahead.

I''m sitting here tonight after hearing of Gerry''s passing thinking of all the wonderful memories I have from childhood and later of working together at NBTel. I am so sorry for your loss. Irene, you and Gerry were such good role models for all of us of what a wonderful marriage was really all about. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remember his smile, easy laugh and ability to listen with interest - which wasn''t always easy with the endless stories I was known to relate to anyone who would listen at 55 Glengarry Drive. He was indeed a special man and to Janet, Jamie and David I feel so priviledged that you shared your Dad with me as I was growing up and I know I am a better person for having known him. All my love - Shelly.

I admired Gerry for his generous ability and desire to pass on singing skills during the two years of barbershop singing I spent with the Men of Fundy in ~2008 and 2009. And he knew how to be a good friend.

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Flower''s passing. He had a wonderful way of making others feel welcome and took the time to show a genuine interest in each person he met. He will be missed by all who knew him.
