We are so sorry to learn of the passing of our cousin,Wayne.As our memory reflects back over the many years ago when we were all children on PEI on those pleasant sunny days,we remember Wayne more as a big brother than as a cousin.Thoughtful and kind,he was a good person.

Bonnie and Family, I had the pleasure of working with Wayne over the years. Wayne's claims experience and knowledge was well respected. I personally looked forward each day at work to going down to the claims department and trying to wind him up. He had a great sense of humour and usually each time I thought I'd had the better of him he'd find a way to get me back. He was a great co-worker and friend. He'll be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to you and your family at this time.

Wayne was a great mentor to me and an even better friend. I was lucky enough to be taken under Wayne's wing while in my early 20's and he taught me a little about insurance and a lot about life. I know I frustrated him over the years with my inability to pick up his many repair / home improvement tips but that never stopped him from trying. We shared many many laughs together and it is his one of a kind sense of humour I will miss most.

I had the pleasure of working with Wayne for many years back in the "Royal" days, and a friendship formed that meant a lot to both of us. in the 31 years since we moved to N.S., we still kept in touch from time to time, mostly when he would pick up the phone and call, and his greeting would usually start off with a "how are you doing p.....head, or if I got back to SJ we would have lunch. So sorry to hear he is gone from this earth, and that we are unable to attend services, as we are in Florida at this time, but am thinking of Wayne this week, and his family, and wishing I could be there to pay our respect.

I am lost for words! Wayne was one of the best guys that I ever had the pleasure to know. He was a thoughtful man. I had high respect for him. I feel bad that its been a few years since I last stopped in for a visit. Our lives all take us down different paths. I cant help but think of all the times that I said I was going to make it out to see Wayne and Bonnie. But when I got to Saint John, I was always pulled in another direction. I always felt that I was part of the extended family. Both Wayne and Bonnie always had an open door to me. I remember many hour long telephone calls, and many memories of my younger years, as Wayne would offer guidance, and allot of laughter at me when I didn't listen! I will miss him! My thoughts go out to all of his family and many like myself, part of his extended family.
