Trevor M. MacKinnon

It is with heavy hearts that we wish to announce the passing of Trevor Melvin MacKinnon at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on August 31, 2013.  He was born in Saint John, NB., son of Bertha (Sweet) MacKinnon and the late Stanley MacKinnon. Trevor was a dispatcher with the Rothesay Regional Police Force for many years, most recently being employed by Atlantic Windoor Ltd prior to his illness.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by loving wife Sharon Spragg; step-children Jeff (Janice) Spragg of Fairfield, NB and Tanya (Jeff Craft) Spragg of Saint John; brothers-in-law Terry (Joyce) Price, Allan (Brenda) Price both of Saint John and Charlie (Donna Belyea) Price of Nauwigewauk, NB; sisters-in-law Brenda (Danny) Cormier of Saint John and Krista Happeney of Red Deer, Alberta; grandchildren Bailey, Zack, Nicole, Abbey, Zack and Leethan.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) where the family will receive visitors Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Trevor’s Memorial Service will take place Thursday, September 5, 2013 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm with the Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
