Teresita Ignacio Manosca

With heavy hearts, the family of Teresita Ignacio Manosca, loving wife of Josefino Manosca announces her passing which occurred peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Malabon, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Florentino and Eusebia (Apolonio) Ignacio. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Benjamin and Marcial Ignacio and her sisters Adelaida Esguerra, Lolita Artigas, Erlinda Go, Siony Ignacio and Georgina Sangalang.

Teresita worked with her sister Georgie at the Geordels Happy Day Nursery and Kindergarten and owned Manosca Special Care Home prior to retirement. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Joe, she is survived by her sons Joselito Manosca (Tracey) of Saint John and David Manosca (Lisa) of Airdrie, AB; cherished granddaughter Mila; several nieces and nephews. 

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, July 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated from Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish, 135 Simpson Drive, on Thursday, July 27 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Teresita may be made to the Diabetes Canada or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
