My thoughts and prayers are with the Knudson family. I remember Mr. Knudson from when I went to Fairvale Elementary School (1995-2000). Only a small number of special teachers stand out in my memory of elementary school and he was definitely one of them. He was such a kind, caring man and I will never forget him.

My condolences to all of the Knudson family. I remember the many good times we had growing up together on Anglin Drive. The memories come back. Steve was always a good friend in the younger years. We were often grounded together quite a few times. Built many forts, played war games,cowboy games, typical boyhood days. Good memories. So sorry to hear the news. Gone but never forgotten..Dave Parks, an old friend from the past. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

I met Steve when I began substitute teaching at Rothesay Park Middle School years ago. He was always a friendly face around the school, and a pleasure to work with. A nice man. Very sorry for your loss.

Mr. K was a good man, he loved his job, his family, and the people he worked with. He was just the most modest and nicest man you could ever meet. He lived a great life and loved every miniute of it. We will miss Mr. K dearly.

I was so sorry to hear of Steven's passing. Although we hadn't seen each other for many years, I have very fond memories of our youth and his visits to our home on Coburg Street. Steven's heart was as genuine as his smile. He will be greatly missed by many.

It was such a great pleasure to have had Mr. K as a TA in my class when I went to RPS. He was the best TA anyone could ever ask for! RPS will never be the same without Mr.K! He will always be remembered for the kind man that he was!

I got to know Steve through the Lions Club as well as Amanda and Nicole in the LEOS Club. Always enjoyed talking with Steve as he was always upbeat and had a great smile. My daughters spent a lot of time with his daughters and my son went to Rothesay middle school....he was a positive influence during those difficult growing up years...we are all sadened by his sudden death...he will be missed ....Monika,Maria,Anna,Eleni and Andreas Mavrogiannakis.....

Words alone will never be enough to express just how much he meant to us. I will miss our breaks that we spent together driving around talking shop.We always had such great laughs together. I will miss Mr.K very much! He always used to help me with my math, he was really good at math and he loved doing it too. He was really nice to everyone and never said no to doing anything. Mr. K will be missed by a lot of people!

Mr. K. was known my many students as the caring EA that helped students with their learning in class, or as the man who ran floor hockey tournaments, dodge ball, ping pong tournaments or track and field try- outs. Mr. K was often in the cafeteria during grade 6 and 7 lunch hours and was always a key player in our student- teacher “friendly competition” games. Steve was a very private man but he always showed great interest and compassion for the kids. Steve was an EA who was always willing to lend a hand and went above the call of duty to add to the positive learning environment at RPS. He will be truly missed. Our sympathies to go Steve's family as we celebrate the wonderful man that he was!

We both had Mr. K in our class. Mr. K was always helpful in math-If we didn't understand something in Math he would explain it in a way that we would understand it. He was the nicest TA a school could have. No one could ever replace such a nice person as Mr. K. We (R.P.S.) will miss him dearly. Sorry for you'r loss.

When I think of the years that Mr. K and I had worked together, I find there are no words to express the honour and privilege it was to have known this man. He was an unwavering asset to me, to his students, and to Rothesay Park School. He was always willing to give so much of himself, for so little in return.

Steve was always the one to make us laugh (and think) at our training sessions in School District 6. His ideas and commitment to the students were admirable. From all the EA's at Lakefield Elementary School may Steve rest in peace.

Mr.K worked with my son a RPS and they had a very special relationship. His name often spoken of at home with great respect and every time his name is mentioned there is a BIG smile on my sons face. Mr. K truly was one in a million there will never be another one like him he had a way with my son and was able to make him smile and laugh when nobody else could. For that he will always hold a very special place in our hearts and will forever be remembered, missed and loved.

So sorry of your loss. Mr.K was a very helpful with me at school. Im pretty sure his brain had a calculator built in. RPS is going to win track and feild this year and when we do we will think of him. No other EA could ever replace Mr.k He always will be in my thoughs and also at RPS.
