Raymond Francis Walsh

Raymond Walsh of Saint John, passed away at home on Wednesday December 23rd, 2015. Raymond was born in Saint John June 7, 1949 to the late Frances Doreen (Garland) Walsh and the late Frank Francis Andrew Walsh. He will be sadly missed by his sister Margaret McKinnon (Wayne) of Saint John, Theresa Walsh Kiezer (Casey) of Chester, NS ; brothers Frank and Douglas Walsh both of Saint John; daughters Rhonda Thorne of Fredericton,  Maria Hunter of Alberta and Rachel Walsh of Saint John; sons Raymond Andrew Walsh, Jr. of Bathurst and Derrick Walsh of Newfoundland; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his sister Marlene Frances Grass. Raymond enjoyed time with his grandchildren, his love for horses, motorbikes and meeting friends at Tim Horton’s made his day.

By request there will be no visitation or service. A private family service will be held in the spring of 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Garden. Donations in Raymond’s memory can be made to Dialysis Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital or the NB Lung Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
