With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Philip Morris Jr.  which occurred on Tuesday, December 29th 2015 in Deleon Springs,  Florida. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 17th, 1962 to Philip and Roseanne “Jackson” Morris.

Philip was an outgoing individual who was indeed the life of the party. He was an avid outdoorsman who had a strong passion and love for horses. He groomed and trained many standard breed horses throughout Canada and the U.S.  During his life he was known to always go the extra mile and do anything for anyone.

Philip is survived by his parents, Philip and Roseanne “Jackson” Morris of Saint John, New Brunswick, daughter; Anne (Donnie) Rice of Hampton, New Brunswick, brother; Scot Thomas of Saint John, New Brunswick and 3 sisters; Kim (Frank) Sbarra of Ottawa, Ontario , Carolanne (Roger) Aldridge of Trenton , Ontario and Michele (Sean) Shannon of Saint John, New Brunswick.

He is predeceased by his uncle, John Jackson and grandparents; John and Mary Jackson and Thomas Agnes Morris.

Philip’s family will receive family and friends at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Sunday, January 31st 2016 between the hours of 6:00-8:00 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial  will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Monday, February 1st 2016 at 12:10 p.m.

Memorial Donations in memory of Philip can be placed towards “Morning Star Acres” Maritime Based Rehabilitation and Rescue Centre for Horses (www.morningstaracres.webs.com) or donor’s choice.
