Marilyn Jean (Beddow) Kerr

It is with great sadness, after a long battle with cancer, we announce the passing of Marilyn Jean Kerr (Hoyt) Beddow. Born to John and Casilda Beddow, March 7, 1959 in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. Besides her parents she is survived by her devoted husband Gerry Kerr Jr., two daughters Kathy (Mark) and Natasha (A.J.) ; seven grandchildren: Kayley, Allan, Kayana, Kathlene, Tyler, Angelina and Michael; six sisters: Elizabeth, Casilda, Doris, Vera, Lucy and Hope; five brothers: Joe, Jackie, Liam, Gerald and Herbie; as well as many other family and friends. Predeceased by her sister Sharon and first husband Wayne Hoyt. Marilyn enjoyed life and was an active member of the Jervis Bay Legion Branch # 53.
A celebration of life will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to funeral. The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
