Leonard Joseph LaRocque

Leonard Joseph LaRocque, loving husband of Carolyn (Foley) LaRocque passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 4, 2011 at his residence. Born 1940 in Chatham Head, NB he was the son of the late Leonard Joseph and Theresa (Higgins) LaRocque. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his granddaughter Catherine; brothers Danny and Ronnie and sister Ann. He worked as a Longshoreman for many years. He will be sadly missed by his loving family.
In addition to his loving wife Carolyn of 50 years, he is survived by his children Leonard Jr. LaRocque (Donna), Debbie LaRocque, Patrick LaRocque (Sandra), Kelly LaRocque and Karen LaRocque; grandchildren Lee, Ashley, Scott, Elizabeth, Jocelyn, David, Brandon, Anthony and Micheal; brothers Brian LaRocque (Barb) and Chris LaRocque (Kathy); sister Theresa Billingsley (Mac); several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday February 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday February 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations in memory Leonard made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
