Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Albert

Surrounded by his loving family, Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Albert, loving husband of Judith Marilyn (O’Brien) Albert, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January 20, 1941 in Caraquet, NB he was the son of the late Alphonse and Germaine Albert.

Larry was the owner and operator of Larry’s Welding, Larry’s Crane Rental and Larry’s Towing. He enjoyed fishing, mud racing, motorcycling, and woodworking, was an avid pool player and owned Borus Monster Truck. Larry was a very kind hearted man who will be missed by so many.

In addition to his loving wife of 56 years, Judy, he is survived by his son Lawrence Albert (Jackie); daughter Linda Albert (Sean); cherished grandchildren Amanda Teehan (Matt), Terra Albert (Dave), Samantha Albert (Daniel), Jessica Albert (Roger), Melissa Albert (Nick), Kara Leigh Albert (Nick), Natasha Albert (Sam) and Sean Alchorn Jr. and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Joe Albert (Lorna); sisters Rose Herbert (Edward), Grace Fortin (Jacque) and Viola Hamilton (Mike); his canine companion Duke; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, August 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 11 at 2 p.m. Remembrances in memory of Larry may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
