Dear Ruth, Gary, Joan, John Paul and other family members,
My sympathy goes out to you and your family as you grieve the loss of a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Although I didn't get to know her well, she was a wonderful lady who loved her Lord. As you celebrate her life, in sharing memories with many people who had the privilege of knowing her, and having been a part of a great heritage, may you know that there are people who are sharing your loss by remembering you in prayer.
Aunt Lil and Uncle Watt were special people in my life. In my younger years , I fondly remember many visits to their home in Seal Cove. Of course, Juanita and Queenie were often mentioned. We followed news of what was going on with the children and grandchildren in the family. Since then, because of this heritage and the wonderful visits there I consider Grand Manan a special place. Stan and Howard were either coming or going in the summertime.
Then when I went to Simonds High, Joan was part of my class. And then at Forest Hills, I taught John Paul in Grade Three.
So, remembering what memories of my connection with your family is special. I do wish I could visit you all today at the funeral home, but am on my way to New Hampshire. Give my love to all the family. Thinking also of the Bleumortier family. Also Stan and Howard.
May the God of all comfort and Peace be with you all as you celebrate this wonderful life.
