Ivan Wells

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ivan Charles Wells which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014.  Born 1958, in Sackville, NB, he was the son of Everett and Mary Lynn (Chapman) Wells.  Ivan worked for Rocky’s Sports Bar as a cook for over 20 years.  He enjoyed going for long drives and his dream was to own and operate a farming establishment.  He was a huge animal lover and a big kid at heart who was never too old for video games.  
Including his parents, Ivan is survived by his daughter Crystal Giroux (Adam Gallagher) of Saint John; brothers Wayne (Vickie) of Point de Bute, NB, Robbie (Gary) of Woodstock, NB, Victor (Cathie) of Black River, Neil of Sussex; grandchildren Jade Cyr and Joshuah Boudreau; step-granddaughter Mickenzy Gallagher; nieces Amanda and Kathleen Wells; nephew Neil Jr.; canine companion Buster and many friends.  Ivan was predeceased by his brother Larry Wells and nephew Scott Wells.  
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Per Ivan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at 401 Rte. 870, Colina, NB on Saturday, August 16th at 3 p.m.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in Ivan’s memory may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
