Irene E.M. Stackhouse

Stackhouse, Mrs. Irene E. M. (Rena) - The death of Mrs. Irene E.M. Stackhouse of Glenburn Court, Saint John, wife of the late George W. Stackhouse occurred on Monday, February 19, 2001 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Gagetown, N. B. she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jane (Mallory) Allen. Mrs. Stackhouse was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and very special to all her family. She is survived by three sons Allen (Margaret) of Hampton, Russell (Valerie) of Saint John and Chester (Jean) of Gondola Point; one brother Lawrence (Leona) Allen of Bellisle, N. B.; three sisters Sadie Selby of Newark, N.J., Jean Eisner of Saint John and Auline (Joseph) Roper of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers James, Frank, George and Charlie; two sisters Bessie and Mary.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd Lake officiating. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
