Harry Robert (Bob) Weatherhead

Weatherhead, Harry Robert (Bob) - of Saint John NB. passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday October 27th, 2005. Born on March 6th, 1924. Harry (Bob) was predeceased by his wife Dot (Foster), son David, 2nd, wife Audrey (Macpherson) and stepson Mac. Bob is survived by daughters Marilyn McDonald (Tom), Linda McLaughlin (David), Debra Logan (Trent), son Gary Weatherhead (Debbie). Grandchildren Scott, Shannon, and Brittany Weatherhead, Laura and Rob McLaughlin, Anthony Logan, Steven McDonald and a special thanks to grand-daughter Shelly Kennedy for all her help caring for dad. Two sisters Muriel Gray (Ron) and Glenna Lovegrave, step children Dorothy Jackson, Brenda Sparks, and Janet Gorham and families.

Harry (Bob) was employed as maintenance foreman at the Saint John General Hospital for 20 years and the Regional Hospital for 5 years before his retirement in 1987. He was a very dedicated employee and was very well liked and respected by workers and fellow staff members. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, horseshoes and bowling. In recent years he enjoyed going to River Valley Seniors, playing pool, cards and going on outings. He especially loved to go to the dance on Saturday night at the city market with his special friend Barb Robertson.
