George G. Currie

CURRIE, GEORGE G. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 20, 1996. He was born in Woodvale, P.E.I. in 1919, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Gray) Currie. He is survived by his wife, Darleen (Sherwood), two sons, Wayne of Fredericton and Timothy and his wife Kathy of Fairvale; three sisters, Bette of Halifax, Hilda of Lower Sackville , and Gerda of Souris, P.E.I.; two brothers, Glenn of Apohaqui, and James of B.C.; as well as several nieces and nephews. A veteran of World War II, having been wounded in Holland. He was employed by the DVA Hospital for many years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home (646-2424), 230 Westmorland Road. A service of Remembrance will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from Fundy Chapel. No flowers by George's request. Donations to N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
