HALL, MRS. ELVA D. - The death of Mrs. Elva Hall of the Carleton Kirk Lodge, formerly of 7 Southwest St., Grand Bay-Westfield, wife of Mr. Alton Hall occurred on Thursday, September 13, 2001 at her residence. Born on Deer Island, N.B. a daughter of the late Willis and Lila (Mosher) Doughty. Mrs. Hall was a member of Grand Bay Baptist Church and the Seniors Friendly Circle. Surviving besides her husband Alton
is her son Paul Doughty (Dorothy) of Musquash, daughter Linda Galbraith (Scott) of Saint John, brothers, Everett of Deer Island and Glendon of Ontario and sisters, Elna Parker of Deer Island and Carolyn Townsend (Arthur) of St. Stephen. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael, Brian, Jamie, Cheryl, Katrina and Sarah, as well as several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hall is predeceased by brothers Milton and Lawrence, sister Edith Small and grandson Bradley Doughty.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday,
September 15, 2001 at 3 p.m. from Grand Bay Baptist Church, followed by interment in the Lorneville Cemetery. Donations to Grand Bay Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
