Elizabeth M. Cormier

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Eliza “Elizabeth” Mary Cormier which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015.   Born 1922, in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Marceline (Arsenault) Cormier. 

Elizabeth is survived by her brothers; Oscar of Bouctouche, Joseph (Frances) of Saint John, Adelard of Bouctouche; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her brothers Hector, Willie, Edmond, Fred, Yvonne, and Oscar; sisters Azelie Gallant, Mary Robichaud, Sr. Alice Cormier and Clara Vautour. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, August 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception on Friday August 14th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the Cathedral Restoration Fund or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
