Edward Hooper

 It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Edward Hooper of Nauwigewauk, who passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 24th, 2015. Ed went home to be with his Lord and Saviour and was looking forward to seeing his loved ones who have gone before, his beloved soulmate Bernice Conde who passed October of 2014 ; his parents, brother, son and grandson.  Ed was born in Barnesville, June 19, 1943 to the late William and  Mary Albertine ‘Bertha” (Gautreau) Hooper.  Ed was a devoted family man, husband, father, gramps, brother, uncle and friend. In earlier years he was an avid outdoorsman and an experienced farmer. Ed is survived and will be missed by his children Lisa Hooper (Billy), Paula Dunn (Al) both of Saint John; April McCulloch (Brian) of Nauwigewauk, Rob McLaughlin (Marlene) of Rothesay; Nick Conde (Kristen) of Quispamsis, Elton Conde (Marissa) of Nauwigewauk, Crystal Warfield (Gary) of Wickham and daughter of the heart April Warfield; of Saint John; brothers William Hooper (Sandra) of Rothesay and Melvin Hooper (Janet) of Ontario; sisters Theresa Hooper of Ontario, Melvina MacKenzie (Gordon) of Rothesay and Janet Whittaker (George) of Norton; 18 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents and his beloved Bernice,   Ed was predeceased by brother Ronald Hooper, son Bruce Hooper and grandson Ryan McLaughlin.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) by request there will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. . Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
