Douglas Thomas Boyle

BOYLE - the death of Mr. Douglas Thomas Boyle, husband of Vera (Rogers) Boyle of 995 Golden Grove Road, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, April 30,1996. He was born in Portland, Maine, a son of the late Ira Thomas and Minnie (Mathieson) Boyle. He was a life long resident of this city and has been employed for over 20 years with the Department of Public works until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew's Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Douglas is survived besides his wife, by two sons; Stephen and his wife Diane of Red Head, and Terrence and his wife Helen of Golden Grove, his brother Lloyd of Portland Main, his sister Thelma Stewart of Golden Grove, four grandchildren; Heather, Karen, Lisa and Linda, as well as one aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased besides his parents, by his brother Hazen.

Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, 646-2424, from where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 3, 1996, at 11:00a.m. Interment will take place in St. Andrews Cemetery in Golden Grove. The family has requested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of donors choice. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 7-9p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
