Doug B. Clark

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas B. Clark of Rothesay, N.B. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 while surrounded by his loving family at Bobby’s Hospice.  Doug was born on August 21, 1935 in Augustine Cove, PEI the son of the late Earl and Ann (Bradshaw) Clark.  Doug graduated from UNB in 1957 with a BA and went on to have a long successful career as owner of Clark Real Estate and C&H Rentals.  Doug was known for his many silent acts of kindness to others in their time of need.  His greatest treasure was his family and faith.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Katherine “Kaye “(Estabrooks) Clark; his four children Brian (Joanne) of Calgary, AB; Larry; Jeff (Joanne); and Heather Clark-Erb (Peter) all of Rothesay.   Papa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Laura, Ryan, Jamie, Emma, Kate & Ellie.  Doug is survived by his sister Doris Mockler (Pete) of Fredericton; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Noble (Claude) of Beamsville, ON and several nieces and nephews. 

We are especially thankful for the incredible care Doug received in his last days at Bobby’s Hospice.  Visitation will take place at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) on Wednesday, September 7th from 2-4 and 7-9.  A Celebration of Doug’s life will take place on Thursday, September 8th at 3pm at Kings Valley Church, 332 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, N.B.
