Doreen Lois McCullough

With heavy hearts, the family of Doreen Lois McCullough announces her sudden passing, which occurred on June 22nd, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Doreen was born on January 19, 1964; a daughter of Doreen (Bent) and the late Orvil McCullough. Doreen was a PSW with Kings Way Care Centre, and Manor St. Jude; she absolutely loved being able to help people, and had the biggest heart in the world. She would do anything for anyone in need. When she was not working, Doreen enjoyed cooking and knitting.

Left to mourn are her sons Joel and Jeremy Ingersoll, her beloved grandchildren Vayda and Lincoln Ingersoll, brothers Orvil, Vernon and Barry, as well as sisters June and Dana. Doreen was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Doreen was pre-deceased by her brother Billy, and her son, Jonathan Ingersoll.

The family will receive friends at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday at 12:10 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the IWK would be appreciated by the family.
