Monique, I am so sorry. I just came back from China, and just found out about Danielle. She was so nice, and I always enjoyed talking to her. Talking about volleyball, her kids, she was so easy to talk to. I cannot believe it. I would have been to see you at the funeral parlor, if I had been home. I will always remember her very fondly, and my heart goes out to you.

I first met Danielle some 15+ years ago through volleyball at Sam de Cham (Thursday night pick up Volleyball)and the YMCA Sunday night volleyball league.
Danielle was such a great person and talented athlete, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

I dont even know where to begin! Danielle was a beautiful girl with a HUGE smile and an even bigger heart! We will miss her! I cannot express how sorry we all are to hear of this tragedy. After trying for a few days to write something that makes sense during this tragic and very sad time, no words seem to make sense… Hang on to one another for comfort and safety during the sad days and the dark storms ahead but please know that you are not alone. Danielle the daughter, mother, wife, sister and friend has touched the hearts of many including ours. I want to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Danielle's loved ones. This tragic passing is something I can't even begin to imagine dealing with or know what you are going through; I can only feel how sad and heartbroken I feel knowing this has happened. Although my heart breaks for her children, husband, mother, father, Gilles, Bonnie, and all others that were close to her, I will continue to think of all the good she left behind and the great spirit she had. Though I only met Danielle a couple of times, I do remember her easy going and happy nature. I'll never forget Danielle and my sister dancing up a storm at Bonnie and Gilles' wedding just having a blast, not to mention stories from Bonnie and Gilles. Gone too soon yet still here in many other ways. Rest in peace as my thoughts are with you all as you battle through this worst part of goodbye.

Danielle was one of those gems that has impacted so many, she was a true, sincere, genuine person that always took the time to smile and chat. My heart goes out to my nephew Mikey, Sarah, Austin and to her immediate family.Danielle was a very beautiful girl. When she smiled, it lit up the room and made you feel welcome. It saddens my heart that she couldn't stay here awhile longer, but I am grateful of the short time here that I got to know her. She is forever in my memory and will never be forgotten and I know that there is a spot in heaven for her. Danielle, you will still make Tina and I that supper someday. Take care.
