Dearest Eric, Heather, Krista and Dougie,
My heart has been so incredibly heavy this week, your Mom and I hit it right off from day one. I will remember her as a loving, kind soul who cared about so many others than herself.
Remembering fun and happy thoughts as well; Grand Manan trips!!! Singing along with Conway and Loretta......I'll never forget these wonderful memories that she gave us.
Barbie will always be in my thoughts, an incredible woman that I will never forget. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this very difficult time.

Mom (Irene) & I, Claudia, were former neighbors of Barbara & Eric, & we remember Shawn Douglas visiting Grammy Barbie & Eric many years ago, we enjoyed her as a good neighbor & also worked with her at Connors Factory. Barby was a life long friend that we grew up together on Harrison st,in the north-end and ran into her and she always stopped to chat and give each other the latest,she was our mothers hairdresser for many years and we always reminded each other about running into Barb,always wearing that wide smile of hospitality and the glad impression that we made her day!!!!Glad to know Ronnie is still here as we know with one brother passed that would be Billy.To all the rest of the Wharton family-Mum and Dad are gone and we will NEVER!!!! Forget the happiness of being part of the family will remain and had we known Barb was sick,would have been there,Linda is in N.B. But I am in Montreal and have a business to run, and CAN'T!!! Get away Sorry!!!! All the best and hope to run into YOUS all soon as it is possible. Dougie and Linda Oliver-XOXO.
