Lindsay C. Belyea

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lindsay Catherine (Scarborough) Belyea which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 19th, 2017.  Born 1942, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Robinson) Scarborough. Lin was a stay at home mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was warm, kind hearted, open minded and down to earth.  She took great pride in her appearance and enjoyed dressing up.  Lin loved long drives, good food and coming home to her puppies.

Lin is survived by her daughters Lesley Belyea and Katie Belyea-Miller (Ali) of Saint John; step-daughters Chrystal Belyea and Christine Dunham of Saint John; grandson Robin and several other step-grandchildren; as well as many cousins and friends.  Besides her parents, Lin was predeceased by her husband Donald Belyea.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  As per Lin’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Lin may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
