Wow i am in shock... very sorry to hear this news such a huge loss of two wonderful people i am so glad to have known both Lin and Don and to know they were never apart it brings some comfort that their time apart was not short but still saddens me to see them both gone from this world as they were a bright part of it... so sorry to you Lesley, Katie,and the rest of the family good bless and be strong for they would want nothing else xoxoxo

My mother viewed the world with a child like wonder which helped her to stay young at heart. She had a fantastic imagination and as a child she would sit on the floor and pretend play with me for hours. As a teenager she became the cool, fun mom that all my friends could talk to and confide in because she did not pass judgement. She was soft, gentle, compassionate and sometimes even a little psychic. She had a welcoming aura around her that made everyone comfortable. People always talked about how much they loved her and how great she looked. It made me feel proud. She is my heart and soul. I miss her and I always will.

There are no words that are adequate right now. This feels so unfair and shocking. I love you both Lesley and Katie and my heart breaks for you. Your Mother was a sweet woman, with a flair for fashion. I will never forget the laughs we had and the advice she gave me! All my love now and always!

Years ago when Debbie and I were just babes, your mom looked after us. I remember thinking how beautiful your mom was and your dad was so funny

My sympathies to your family on loss of your mother. Lin and I grew up together on Mount Pleasant many years ago. We were good childhood friends and I spent many fun nights at her house eating her mums great cooking and having sleepovers..I was sad to read of her passing. We had a wonderful childhood there on Mt Pleasant Court and the Big Lawn as we called it. The memories of those days are flooding back...Patricia Garey.
