Wayne John Grant

It is with heart break and sadness the family of Wayne John Grant announce his passing which occurred on February 19, 2021 at his home in Toronto, Ontario. Wayne was born in Saint John on April 5, 1967 the son of Christopher Grant of Saint John and the late Mary Kathleen (Thomas) Grant.

Wayne loved all sports; hockey, baseball and football. He worked for the Superstore West Saint John for many years. Later headed to the big city and enjoyed living in the city of Toronto. Those who knew and loved him will miss him forever. Wayne is survived by his loving father Christopher; step-mother Gertrude; his sister Marianne; daughters Kayla and Mary; son Kyle; grandchildren Maci, Myah, Jaden, MacKenzie and Bentley; step-brother Kevin Roberts; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with his mother, Wayne was predeceased by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Following cremation a graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Wednesday March 17th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. where Wayne will be laid to rest with his Mother Kay.
