Wayne Douglas McGrath

It is with broken hearts that the family of Wayne Douglas McGrath announces his passing on December 29, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Edward and Gladys (Mercer) McGrath.

He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers; Edward, Arthur, Terry, Peter and two sisters Gail Brideau and Gladys McGrath.  His quick wit and kind heart will be remembered by all.

Wayne is survived by his siblings: Diane (Blaine) McRae, Phyllis (William) Titus, Frederick (Pat) McGrath, and Paul McGrath; special friends Corey and Kelly Driscoll, and their children; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB. There will be visitation on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 12PM – 2PM, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 2PM. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens in the spring. For those who wish, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by family.
