Tammy Lynn McCoy

It is with heavy hearts and sadness the family of Tammy Lynn McCoy announce her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday May 23rd, 2018. Born in Fredericton, January 17th of 1970, she is the daughter of Barbara Hood and Albert O’Donnell both of Edmonton, Alberta. Tammy was a loving daughter, devoted wife and amazing mother, who adored her children from the moment they were born.  Tammy worked for Home Hardware for many years and later owned and operated McCoy’s General Store. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with her kids, her family and friends. Tammy will be missed by her parents, loving and devoted husband of over 20 years David McCoy; precious children, daughter Gracey and son Kayden; sisters Sylvia Briggs (Donna) and Stacey Davis (Jordan); grandmother Ethel Mae Hood;  nieces and nephews Michael, Christopher, Sam, Jon, Henry, Madeline, Jaclyn, Justin, Aaron, Nicole and Riley; mother-in-law and father-in-law Marguerite and Everett McCoy; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Rhonda (Stewart), Wade (Joan), Michael (Heather), Jamie (Sonja) and Vera; and many many friends.  Tammy was predeceased by a brother-in-law Jody and a niece Natalie.

By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Donations in Tammy’s memory can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
