It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Louise Parisien announce her passing on October 25, 2024. Sharon was born on July 22, 1962, in Saint John, New Brunswick and is the much-loved daughter to Ann Marie Patricia (Mercer) McDonough and the late Donald Bernard McDonough. She was predeceased by her husband David Parisien. Sharon resided in Arthur, Ontario with her loving partner, Joe Harris.
Sharon grew up in the village of Renforth, NB and graduated from Kennebecasis Valley High School in 1982. She was employed at Linamar in Guelph, Ontario for over 25 years. Sharon loved animals big and small and cherished her dogs Sabrina and Cuddles. She enjoyed good food prepared by Joe, campfires in the back yard and a hot cup of tea watching Greys Anatomy. You could always count on a call from Sharon on your birthday, family was important to her. Sharon was a kind, gentle, generous person and adored by all who knew her.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Michele (Tonon), Kevin and Kelly (Boyle), Bruce and Julie (Bezeau), Gary and Lynne (Budge); nieces and nephews Connor, Kathleen, Mitchell, Kelsey, Liam and Riley, aunts and uncles from the Mercer family and Joan Harris and her partner Fred Brown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Family and friends will be received on Tuesday November 5th, 2024, from 9:00 – 10:30 AM, with the Funeral Liturgy beginning at 10:30 AM in the Fundy Chapel.
