Ronald Carl Perrin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Carl Perrin on November 25, 2024, at his residence with the love of his family surrounding him.  He was born in Saint John on February 12, 1965, to Gloria (Crowe) and the late Donald Perrin.

Ronnie worked in Industrial Painting and the Auto Body Industry for many years until retirement.  He was not a quiet man.  Ronnie was loud and opinionated and stubborn and hot headed on the one hand, but he was also giving and caring and kind and lovely on the other.  He would give you the shirt off his back if that was what you needed.  He loved poker and golf and watching any kind of documentary you could think of.  He was a wonderful and very hands on father but once he became a grandfather, his true light shone through, and he was the best Grampy.  He was a wonderful man who went through a lot of health struggles, but those struggles helped to bring a whole community together to fundraise and acknowledge this man for how wonderful he was.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by his two adored daughters, Kaley (Leighton) and Brooke (Kaiden); 4 beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Audrey, Dallas and Iyla; his sister, Lisa (Mike) as well as his two nephews, Adam (Samantha), Matt (Tasha) as well as several cousins and his very special friend, Lynn Hall. 

Ronnie’s family would like to take this time to thank the care and compassion shown to Ronnie by his doctors, Dr. Andranti and Dr. Kabongo.  Your kindness towards Ronnie when he needed it will never be forgotten. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 10am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens following the service.  For those who wish, memorial donations in Ronnie’s memory to the NB Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
