BELANGER, REAL JOSEPH
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Real Joseph Belanger, 76, loving husband of Minnie Belanger, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, July 07, 2023. Born in Sherbrook, Quebec on May 09, 1947, he was a son of the late Patrick Belanger and stepmother Simone.
The majority of Real’s working career was spent at the Dry Dock with Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd. He always loved to share jokes, had a great sense of humour, and loved to go bowling.
Along with his cherished wife Minnie, Real is survived by his 2 sons Jeremy Belanger (Michelle) and Greg Belanger along with his 3 stepchildren; Roger Wooden, Keith Wooden and Sherry Wooden. He is also survived by his 3 sisters; Nicole, Monique and Claire and will always be remembered by his granddaughter Brittany along with great grandchildren; Lottie and Nora.
In addition to his father and stepmother, Real is predeceased by his sister Suzanne.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be taking place and no formal visitation or funeral service will happen at this time.
