Randy St. Croix Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph “Randy” St. Croix, after a brief illness, on May 8th, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.  Randy was born on April 2nd, 1958 to the late Kenneth and Patricia (Daigle) St. Croix.

Randy retired after many years at Anglophone South School District.  He was funny, down to earth and always up for a good time, playing sports in his younger years and he also loved country music.  Randy loved dancing, hunting and playing crib.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 Randy is survived by his daughter Carrie Tower; his wife Dawn Richardson of 13 years, her daughters Carrie Richardson and Megan Richardson and their children Zach, Maddie and Jaxon; his sister Marie McGouey (Tommy); his brother Jimmy St. Croix (Kim); step-brothers David, Mike and Bernie Arsenault; step sister Annette Arsenault; best friend Steve Elliott (Darlene); as well as many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; furbaby China and the late Rosco, as well as grand furbaby Bentley and the late Maya.  Along with his parents, Randy was predeceased by his former wife Carla, brother Kenneth St. Croix (Dorothy) and step father Andrew Arsenault.

The family wishes to thank the staff of SICU, ICU, 4CN and Palliative Care, as well as Dr. Mark Tutschka and Dr. Ryan Wade for the special compassionate care provided.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  A Celebration of Randy’s Life will take place on Friday, May 12th from 2 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home reception center.  Donations in memory of Randy may be made to The Lung Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
