Philip "Flip" Michael Joseph Doiron

It is with great sadness the family of Philip "Flip" Michael Joseph Doiron announce his passing on August, 16, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on May 22, 1953 Philip was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Evangeline (Allard) Doiron.  

Philip's charismatic, outgoing nature afforded him countless friends and acquaintances.  He had a great passion for motorbikes, be it his ATV or Harley Davidson, he loved going on bike runs with his friends.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and past member the Royal Canadian Legion.  He also like playing darts.  During his lifetime, Philip worked as an Industrial Painter, a taxi driver with Vets Taxi and he was the owner/operator of two successful dog grooming businesses, Best Friend Dog Grooming and Phil's Pet Parlour.  

Philip is survived by his daughter Holly Clements of Weymouth Falls, NS and his biological son Andrew Breen of Calgary AB., as well as his four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his siblings: Charles Doiron, ReJean (Dessie) Doiron, Eric (Linda) Doiron, Raymond (Valerie) Doiron, Bertha (Fred) White, Darren (April) Doiron and his loving partner Trena Cross.  In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his sisters Olive Walton and infant twins Mary and Margaret Doiron.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 1-2 PM.  A Funeral Liturgy will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 2:00 PM.  For those that wish donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus Counsel 6595.
