It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Norman William Butler, which occurred on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 22nd, 1959, in Saint John, he is the son of the late Harold and Frances (Walton) Butler.
Norman worked as a Salesman at The Power Store. He loved his job and enjoyed going four-wheeling. He adored his grandchildren and loved attending all of their activities. Norman had a big heart and would be there for anyone and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Norman is survived by his loving and devoted wife Wanda (Webb) of 43 years; daughter Justine Bailey (Frank) of Fredericton; son Derrick Butler (Jess) of Ottawa; brothers Brian Butler (Debbie) of Saint John, John Butler (Lynda) of Shediac; sisters Ann Sharp (Carl) of Quispamsis, Margaret Chandler (Harold) of Saint John; grandchildren Reid & Ella; canine companion Skye; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents, Norman was predeceased by Marilyn Davies.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Saturday, July 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Donations in memory of Norman may be made to The Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
