It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Jones announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, June 20th 2023, at the age of 69. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Kevin Jones, her children Rachelle (Bill) O'Donnell, Monique (Raymond) Wooden, Cassandra (Mark) Savoie, Kyle (Kimberly) Jones and of course by her fur baby Rosie "Rose Bud" Jones. She was a proud grandmother to Nicholas, Brooklynn, Jaxon, Sydney and to "one on the way" grandchild she was so looking forward to meeting as well as a great-grandmother to Mason. She is survived by her brothers Leo (Cathy) Chevarie, Ray (Linda) Chevarie and Claude Chevarie. Norma was the much loved daughter of the late Leo and Regina Chevarie. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. To those family, friends and neighbours that have shown such loving concern and condolences, the family passes along their heartfelt thanks. To know Norma was to know a loving, vibrant woman who embraced and enjoyed all aspects of life. She loved her family, her friends, and get-togethers that saw them all together in her happy place, her backyard patio, where she proudly wore the mantle of "backyard supervisor". She was a dedicated Bingo player, who once even changed TV providers so as to not miss a game. It goes without saying there was no other like her, and her departure will leave an empty place in our hearts. Safe travels Norma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and supervision of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, (506-646-2424). To Celebrate Norma's life all are welcome to join the family on Thursday, June 29th 2023 anytime after 2pm on 9 Belgrave Street as a drop by to share any condolences or memories with the family. Interment at Oceanview Memorial Gardens will take place privately. Charitable donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
