Mollie Searle

It is with broken hearts that the family of Mollie Joyce Searle announce her passing on January 10, 2025 at Loch Lomand Villa. She was born May 10, 1933, North Head, Grand Manan, to the late James and Edith (Parker) Wright and step-mother, Daisy (Clark) Wright.

She worked at Loch Lomond Villa and then retired from the School Board in Saint John, NB. Mollie enjoyed making her crafts, dancing, listening to music, knitting, and road trips with her late sister Fran. Mollie was predeceased by her Husband John Henry Searle. Mollie is survived by her children; Elaine DeLong (Gary) of Browns Flat, NB, John Henry Searle (Deb) of Miscouche, PE, Stephen Searle of Saint John, NB,  and Wendy Searle of Red Head, NB; sisters Joan Gosse (Jack) of Public Landing, Grace Wright (Gary) of Saint John; brothers James Wright of Public Landing, and Thomas Wright (Mary) of Saint John grandchildren;  Wendy Matheson (Donnie), Melissa DeLong (Glenn Norman), Lisa Jones, Heather Searle, Alana Searle (Mike Welk), Katherine Searle, Christopher Searle and Matthew Searle ( Amanda LeClair), a special niece Nancy Bogle; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mollie was predeceased by her son Richard Paul Searle, brothers, John and Eugene sisters, Frances and Bonita. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. At the request of the family, there will no visitation or service. There will be a burial service to be determined at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
