Marjorie Iona Johnston

It is with great love that the family announce the passing of Marjorie Iona Johnston at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 13, 2021.  Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Iona (Dalling) Guilfoil.  She was the wife of the late Donald Johnston who passed away in 2002.  Marjorie will be greatly missed by her sons:  Drew Johnston (Candy), Joel Johnston (Fran), and Darren Johnston (Colleen) all of Saint John, NB; her grandchildren:  Daniel (Abby), Julianne, Patrick, Emily, and Allison; her great-grandson Levi; her brother-in-law Jim Issadas of Mississauga, ON; sisters-in-law:  Shirley McNeill and Donna Daggett (Larry) all of Saint John, NB and Betty Johnston of Nauwigewauk, NB; as well as by many extended family members and friends.  Along with her parents and husband, Marjorie was predeceased by her brother Arthur Guilfoil and her sisters:  Clara Dunphy, Irene Maxwell, and Gloria "Tabby" Issadas.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3.  Visitation was held privately and the funeral service will be held on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.    Due to the ongoing pandemic, all wishing to attend the funeral service on Saturday are asked to call the funeral home directly to RSVP (506)-646-2424.  You may watch the funeral by clicking the following link:  https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1625669669124053 Interment was held in Fernhill Cemetery.  Donations to the New Brunswick Heart Centre or a charity of your personal choice would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences are available at:  www.fundyfuneralhome.com
